Friday 12/8-Sunday 12/10

I have my phone working again, so I can more easily update the website!

First news, no class on Friday the 15th!

Second News, I’m working on a method I  which my absence will not impact class schedules.  Hopefully my two black belts can start teaching soon!

Third news.  No word on a building yet, though one original request mentioned a start time in January.  Fingers crossed! 

Fourth news, it will be COLD!  Bring a coat, and maybe gloves!  That way I don’t teach a bunch of icicles.

Friday we will do our half mile run, stretches with challenges, then work on drills and techniques.  After that, we will do sparring with points.

Saturday we will revisit one-steps and you’ll learn some traditional ones.  These old drills can really fine tune your sparring.  Takedowns in Saturday!

Sunday we will learn a handful of older techniques.  The help us move our body in new and effective ways.  Sometimes learning to take advantage of your opponents’ body positioning can win a fight!  Sparring WITH take downs.  A takedown is a point!
